Who we are

2545 Salon and Spa is an Aveda concept retail store, and a full service hair salon and spa with tanning services. We have two locations: one in Sechelt and one in Gibsons. We are a luxury brand that is plant based and 100% vegan.

Product Reviews

When you leave a product review on the website, we collect the data shown in the review form. We may also record your computer’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Contact forms

When you fill in our contact form, we collect the data shown in the form, so that we can follow up with you. We may also record your computer’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Cookies

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information. Login cookies last for two days. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your information with any other businesses. However, information stored by our website can be viewed by our technical service providers, including our web hosting company and our contracted web developer.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a product review, the review and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

If you register on our website, we store any personal information you provide in your user profile indefinitely. You can view edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except you cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left reviews, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Product reviews and contact messages may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
